In 2022 I attended my first 15th Air Force Reunion in Kansas to honor my Great Uncle David G. Matheson, a nose gunner with the 742nd BS. I was blown away with the reunion and had a wonderful time, however I couldn’t help but feel that the 455th needed more representation to share their story. Since 2022 I have been hunting down any items I can find related to the 455th BG to display every year at the reunions. Below is an ongoing digital display of these acquisitions.
